How to enable Automatic Windows Update in any computer or Laptops:
Hello Guys. We all know (those who are using windows OS) in
computers or in laptops windows update is very important. We can use the latest
feature of windows by updating windows. How can we update it or how we can
check our windows is up-to-date or not. To check our windows is up-to-date or
not, we usually check for windows updates (Those who knows this). And those who
know what Windows Update is, we usually don’t check it. Those who knows some
basic stuff of computer they Checks it regularly for better performance of
their computers. So now I am going to tell you how can you enable Automatic
Windows Update in any computer or Laptops. So let’s take a look…..
Steps:
Ø
Open Control Panel of your computer or laptop.
Ø
You will get many settings options of your
computer or laptop.
Ø
Click on “Administrative
Tools”.
Ø
After Clicking On “Administrative
Tools”, a new window will open in front of you.
Ø
Now double click on “Services”.
Ø
After clicking on Services, another new window
will open.
Ø
In that window scroll down to the last and you
will find “Windows Update”.

Double click on windows update.
Ø
Now another small window will appear in front of
you.
Ø
In that window your “Startup
Type” might be “Disabled”.
Ø
It means your automatic windows update is not
running.
Ø
To enable that:
v
Click on Disabled.
v
You will find a dropdown menu.
v
There are 4 types or option in the dropdown menu
to enable or disable it.
v
The menus are:

Automatic (Delayed start)
·
Automatic
·
Manual
·
Disabled
v
You can choose any of the options except “Disabled”.

After choosing any of the options except “Disabled”, click on apply.
v
And then click on Start.
v
Finally click “Apply”
again. Done
Now you have successfully enabled your automatic windows
